Hi, folks! I’m Lupita, a 5-year old female Chihuahua, and I look forward to settling down in my forever home. You can find and adopt me to the Prez Foundation.
I’ve already been abandoned twice. I was left next to an animal shelter in Texas with multiple bone fractures, nerve damage, and severely malnourished. Later on, I regained my health, but, sadly, my second owner passed away.
Despite these, I’ll never stop myself from giving lots of love to hoomans, and I’m still hopeful about meeting my forever owner!
I might be slow and walk a little silly, but I assure you to give my unlimited warmest love whenever we cuddle. Just help me to get on the couch, I’ll be fine! I’m an energetic yet quiet type of dog. I like to be held like your own child!
My past family said that I was a good girl when dogs and cats were around me. So I don’t mind having siblings at my new home!
The type of home I’m looking for:
- I need to be at home with no playful children and a noisy environment. I’m not that fast to get out of the way, and I can get scared of any loud noises. Please bear with me.
- I walk slowly, so I’d like my new parents to assist me whenever I’m getting inside the car. I promise to give back my unending love and behave like a good girl!
#WhynotMEpets is a statewide campaign that gives cats and dogs needing more care and attention a greater chance of finding a home as quickly as possible. Its mission focuses on animals that have been homeless for two months or longer; are elderly; have behavior or medical needs; aren’t thriving in the shelter environment; or make up a large percentage of the shelter population, such as bully breeds. These are the animals asking “Why not me?” To learn more, visit pawsitivealliance.org/whynotmepets.
